SUMMARY
OUR MISSION
New Triad for Collaborative Arts is a non-profit educational and arts services organization founded in 2002 that specializes in the innovative presentation skills crucial for classically trained musicians today. New Triad’s interdisciplinary approach helps artists dramatically increase their expressiveness and transforms the visual impact of their performances.
OUR PROGRAMS
- Performance Skills Residencies are available to universities, conservatories, and festivals. Targeted work in drama, movement and psychology synthesized with musical interpretation are often not included in traditional music curricula. To date, New Triad training has been sponsored by institutions including Manhattan School of Music, Chamber Music America, Yale University, National Association of Teachers of Singing, Mannes College, Sarah Lawrence College, Texas Music Festival, Ohio State University, Voces Intimae in Dallas and as Professional Mentoring projects at The Juilliard School.
- Professional Training Workshops in New York City featuring combinations of New Triad's Presentation Skills Seminars are offered for instrumentalists and singers. Each workshop culminates in a public performance by the participants.
- Performance Enhancement Sessions are available to soloists, ensembles, young artist programs, and competitions to improve presentation skills for specific performance projects.
- Arts-in-Education Residencies. New Triad Performance Specialists have designed educational programs specifically for K-12 students: "Me and My Song" (K-6) and "Theory of Three: Chamberfest" (grades 7-12).
